The Euphoria star Hunter Schafer suddenly became involved in a rising debate about transgender rights throughout the United States.
Schafer, a well-known advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, recently revealed that her newly issued passport lists her as “male” instead of “female,” despite her gender marker being changed nearly a decade ago.

The debate surrounding the executive order continues to escalate since legal organizations and LGBTQ+ advocacy groups have announced plans to file lawsuits at courts.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) submitted a lawsuit because they believe this policy breaches constitutional law while causing unwarranted hardship to transgender individuals.

“Trans people are beautiful. Transgender people will continue to exist without any possibility of stoppage. The passport designation through a written letter cannot modify transgender existence according to her belief.
