Kim Kardashian tried to buy an emotional item from Robert Kardashian Sr. but O.J. Simpson’s estate denied the sale.
During O.J. Simpson’s trial for murder in 1995 Robert Kardashian Sr. joined the team that would defend the famous defendant.
Through their alliance Simpson received devoted friendship from Kardashian throughout the murder charges for his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman’s deaths.
The public continued to hold unfavorable views toward Simpson even after his prosecution won the criminal trial because of his slow police chase then as he became legally responsible for both deaths.

In the Bible sent to Simpson Kardashian wrote an emotional message of faith to support him during his mounting legal difficulties.
The message stated:
“O.J. this book provides you guidance.” Through his words God bestows love toward you while speaking to your heart. Read this book every day. Your life plan exists precisely as God decided it to be. As his child the Lord will use you once more in the future. I love you and God continuously sends his affection to you.
A Bible once owned by Simpson now appears in an auction sale managed by Goldin Auctions since executors must sell off his estate assets to pay debts.
The Bible gained relevance to Kim Kardashian because she donated $15,000 to maintain the heirloom amongst her family members.
Malcolm LaVergne rejected her offer to purchase because he made his decision partially based on financial issues related to Simpson’s estate.
LaVergne explained his reason for rejection by stating “The amount convinced me to make no choice because giving away $15,000 estate funds would represent a poor business decision since it would require additional $15,000 attorney fees for the same $15,000 payment to Kim.” That’s a zero-sum game. That’s a bad business model.”
He revealed that a higher monetary proposal from Kardashian could have led the estate to consider a private transaction despite the rejection.
Public bidding continues for the Bible although bidders currently place lower proposals than what Kim initially proposed.
Kardashian has the chance to participate in the auction which might allow her to purchase the item at a value lower than her original $15,000 bidding price.
The recent news triggered internet discussion about Kardashian becoming a billionaire yet choosing to pay a small amount for the Bible.
The critics state she should become the owner by placing bigger offers while people who support her view contend she should refrain from overpaying for items of personal importance.
